Annual Members Art Show
January 10, 2012 - February 25, 2012
138 works by 74 artists, photographers, and sculptors from 22 Connecticut towns are on display at the Easton Arts Council's Annual Member Show on exhibit through February 25, 2012 in the Community Room of the Easton Library 10a.m.-5p.m. Mon.-Fri. 10a.m.-3p.m. Sat. Many of the award-winning artists in the show have exhibited nationally; several have exhibited internationally. Purchases benefit the Library and help further the arts in Easton.

Youth Art and Frame Workshop
Acrylic on Canvas
at the Easton Community Center
- Ages 4 – 12
- Free to all Easton Residents. Spaces are limited, so sign up now.
Do you love acrylic painting on canvas but don’t know how to frame your paintings? Would you like to walk right and have paint, canvas and frames available to create you own artwork to hang in the Easton Youth Art Show? Come to this fun-filled workshop paint on canvas and learn how to frame and hang your artwork. All supplies have been donated by The Easton Lions Club and the venue by the Easton Community Center.

THE 2012 YOUTH ART SHOW
The Youth Art Show will be held in the Library Community Room during the month of March in honor of National Youth Art Month Reception will be Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 3:00 – 4:00 PM in the Library Community Room.
Receiving date is Saturday, February 25, 12:00 PM–2:00 PM
in the Community Room of the Easton Library.

THE 2012 YOUTH TALENT SHOW
The Youth Talent Show will be held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Easton Library Community Room.
Art and Talent reception to follow.
Any type of appropriate act is acceptable: instrumental,
vocal (no lip synching), dance, acting, etc.
Acts must be four minutes or less. Piano is available.
Singers must bring their own accompanist or CD.
AUDITION: Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Community Room.
DRESS REHEARSAL: Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Community Room.
